No, it has a shared graphics card which means it uses other system resources such as the laptops ram to generate images. You would need something with a dedicated graphics card with at least 256mb of ram on the card such as a Nvidea Geforce or one of the ATi range.

Have you considered the 6920 or 30 or even the 8920 or 30, and the 5920g and 5520g machines??

You will have too hard drives showing when you look in - my computer. The smaller one is the recovery partition.

You will need some internet security but as long as you are wifi ready at home, the laptop will connect straight away.

A 1.85Ghz processor is easily capable of playing a DVD, if it struggles then there is problem somewhere else in the system. You cant really upgrade them though like you can in a Desktop PC.

The trial is generally 60 days. Unfortunately we can't downgrade any laptops with vista home premium or home basic although if contact Acer, they may be able to supply the drivers to do this yourself.

This model does not have the processor speed or graphcs card for call of duty 4. For a gaming laptop you'll need to look for models with a dedicated graphics card such as the nVidia 8600 gt

The graphics capability of this model isn't really built for games. For that you need dedicated graphics cards. Look for nvidia or Ati Graphics cards which, are present in a lot of models, if you want to play games

It should be fine for school work and web browsing. However, if you want it to be able to play games this model doesn't have a powerful enough graphics card to run most games.

It's always a good idea to use an external sound card if recording onto a laptop. Apart from that it should be fine, but check the requirements of any software you use though.
