Question from steven-mcd: Asked on 18/11/2007 i currently have a blueyonder broadband modem. so do i simply unplug that, plug in the wireless rooter and it shal work

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 19/11/2007
As Blueyonder is over a cable connection then you will need a cable router. The product you will need will depend on the modem connection, if it is a network connection then you will need a router (have a look at product code WRV200-UK) If it is a USB modem then you will need a modem and router built into one.

Question from Montyprop: Asked on 21/06/2007 I currently have a Ntlworld broadband modem connect via an ethernet connection to the base PC and I want to have wireless connection to a laptop. Is this the best solution device to buy and would I still have to keep the NTL modem?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 26/06/2007
This router will give you a wireless connection though it is an ADSL router so it will only work if you get your broadband over your telephone line. If you get your broadband over a cable connection you need a cable router, not this ADSL one.

Question from Wendy: Asked on 04/06/2007 Probably a daft question but can I operate my laptop with the wireless router and my PC through a regular modem as it is now.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 10/06/2007
This device contains an ADSL2+ modem, so you wont need to use your current modem any more.
